The Arc of the Mid Ohio Valley

Today we are humbled and honored to welcome a wonderful organization to be a part of the Williamstown Bank Family. At the start of a humid June, members of the community gathered to commemorate the addition of The Arc of the Mid Ohio Valley to the needful beneficiary list of The Giving Cup coffee shop in the Lubeck branch of Williamstown Bank. As to the beginning of a new relationship, we are excited to bring to light the hard work that The Arc of the MOV does to make our communities safer and more accessible to individuals with disabilities.

We would love to highlight some of The Arc of the MOV’s history as well as their shining light of accomplishment within our neighborhoods and homes. The Arc of the MOV was established in 1955 and our local MOV chapter is apart of the larger Arc of WV and Arc of the US. They are led by awesome leaders and teachers that make the magic of their partnership work through each individuals’ unique experiences. The Arc of the MOV’s main focus and objective is “to ensure a satisfying and productive life for the citizens we serve with intellectual, cognitive and related developmental disabilities and their families.”

With all of The Arc of the MOV’s dedication shining through the wonderful lives of those affected, Williamstown Bank is beaming to include them into the non-profit beneficiary list. These beneficiaries receive 100% of the donations given to their chosen organization through the innovative coffee shop – The Giving Cup, located in the Lubeck branch of Williamstown Bank.

The Arc of the MOV is also excited to host one of their many summer activity days within the Lubeck branch of Williamstown Bank. The Arc of the MOV is complimentary of not only the design of the Lubeck branch but also the function that features a layout that is accessible for all types of people; especially people with disabilities!

We are so thankful for all of the good The Arc of the MOV does for those in our community who have disabilities and their families!
